Boy, to be in-tune with the Holy Spirit 100% of the time is what I pray for. To be open to respond 100% in trust and faith when the Spirit calls for action without any reservations. So much of discussion lately with a buddy of mine has been how our Christian book group has been great at sharing our faith and learning more on how we can get closer to God. But, and it is a big but, we have become sick of asking what our purpose or His will is for us. We were reading all these books and feeling good about his love and wanting to act. Now we are sick of talking about where and how we see ourselves helping people, reading about God’s love and reading about “radical” christians. It’s like reading self help books and not putting anything into practice. We have gotten wrapped up into looking for the BIG move or mission, not focusing on the Holy Spirit and where He is guiding us day to day, person to person. I pray that God comes first in ALL things in my life and that I can keep His Word close to heart and mind for all situations to know what is right and true. You nailed it Paster Jordan!! John 16:15 “All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He (Holy Spirit) takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.” Talk about knowing that you have a direct line to Jesus and the Father through the Holy Spirit which is in us!
